Our team
Every patient who walks in is examined by a licensed optometrist. Here is the team, and the equipment we examine you with.

Monday to SaturdayCashier & Front Desk
Registration, job orders and eyeglasses release. Usually the first person who greets you.
Monday to SaturdaySales & Procurement Officer
Supplier relationships and lens and frame ordering, so what you need is on the shelf.
Monday to SaturdayA second examination chair, so more families in Caraga can be seen without shortening anyone's appointment. If that is you, there is more detail further down this page.
Technology
Good equipment does not make a good clinician, but it does let one see things that would otherwise be guessed at.
| Slit lamp biomicroscope | Magnified examination of the cornea, iris, and lens — where most front-of-eye problems first show. |
|---|---|
| Non-contact tonometer | Eye pressure without drops or contact. The first line of glaucoma detection. |
| Autorefractor & keratometer | An objective starting prescription and corneal curvature, before subjective refinement. |
| Retinal fundus camera | Photographs the back of the eye so this year can be compared against last year, precisely. |
| Digital lensmeter | Reads the prescription in your current glasses, useful when you have lost the paperwork. |
| Trial frame & lens set | Because a number on a screen still has to be confirmed against how you actually see. |

This notice explains what happens to your information when you use www.galauraeyeclinic.com. Information you give us in person at the clinic, in a Messenger conversation, or over the phone is patient information, and is handled under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Nothing. This site has no contact forms, no booking fields, no sign-up and no account log-in, so there is nothing here for you to type. We do not run advertising pixels or analytics trackers on this site, and we do not build a profile of you from your visit.
Two things happen in the background on any website, including this one:
The “Message us” and “Chat with the front desk” buttons open Facebook Messenger, and our patient stories link opens our Facebook Page. Once you leave this site you are on Meta’s platform and Meta’s privacy policy applies. Messages you send us there are read by our front desk during clinic hours and kept so we can follow up with you.
Records created when you are examined — your history, refraction, findings and prescription — are kept as part of your patient file so we can care for you properly and compare against your next visit. We do not sell patient information. To ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it removed, contact us using the details below.
Photographs of patients appear on this website only where the person in them agreed to it. If you are in a photograph on this page and would like it taken down, message or call us and we will remove it.
The law gives you the right to be informed about how your personal data is used, to access it, to have it corrected, to object to its processing, to have it erased or blocked, to be indemnified for damages, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

Galaura Eye Clinic
Everything on this website describes our services in general terms. It is not a diagnosis, not a prescription, and not advice about your eyes specifically. Reading this page does not make you our patient and does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Only an actual examination at the clinic can tell you what your eyes need.
Do not wait for a reply here or on Messenger. Sudden loss of vision, an injury to the eye, chemical splash, severe pain, or a curtain or shadow across your sight need to be seen immediately — go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Services, equipment and prices described here can change, and some services depend on the availability of the doctor or the equipment on a given day. Please call the clinic to confirm before you travel.
Our Messenger and phone line are answered during clinic hours, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. They are not monitored around the clock, and a message sent outside those hours will be answered the next working day.
The text, photographs, logo and design on this site belong to Galaura Eye Clinic. Please do not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission. Patient photographs are published with the permission of the people in them.
This site links out to Google Maps and to Facebook. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your information.
